TAAL LAKE AND VOLCANO in BATANGAS

 TAAL LAKE AND VOLCANO IN BATANGAS is a fresh water lake.The lake fills taal caldera,a large Volcano Caldera formed by a very large eruption between 500,000-100,000 years ago.It is 3rd largest lake after laguna de bay and lake Lanao.It is designated a decade Volcano,One of the active Volcano and part of the Pacific ring of Fire.

 There have 33 recorded eruption of Taal since 1572,a more violent activitiesof taal occured on September
24,1716 and the greatest eruption of Taal occured on 1754 the great 200 day eruption from may 15-december 01.
One of the Most Devastating eruption occured in the night of 27th january 1911Volcano island sank 3-10feet as result of eruption.claimed 1,335 lives 199 injured and 7 baranggays that existed on the island previous to the eruptions is wiped out.
